Bullied Teen Gets A$1 Million Compensation

School Bully Victim

Benjamin Cox, a victim of bullying in school, will receive substantial damages and income for life, after he won a case against the State of New South Wales, Australia. His lawyers expect A$1,000,000 in damages - a record for a bullying case. His mom said once she was called to the school office to find her son crying, with a lower tooth missing and a bleeding lip. The Department of Education officer simply told her the older boy had “tried to shove his jumper down his throat”.

Five days after being sentenced to 45 days jail, Paris Hilton admitted that she understands the seriousness of her offence and that she is not above the law.
