Jude Law - My Blueberry Nights

Hong Kong director, Wong Kar-Wai, has said that Jude Law didn’t act like a prima donna on the set of his new movie - My Blueberry Nights. He recalled that the actor would eat meals on the pavement during the shoot. Hong Kong movie producers are known for their economy, lacking the amenities common in Hollywood shoots.

“I noticed a very good quality in Hollywood. When you meet their movie workers, including their actors, they’re very passionate about movies”, he said.  “If there is a good movie, they can give up many things. They don’t need the best hotel or a private jet. They don’t need anything. Take Jude Law for example, he just ate his meals on the pavement, just like when I made movies in Hong Kong”.

My Blueberry Nights is about a young woman who takes a soul-searching journey across America and meets a series of offbeat characters along the way. The movie stars Jude Law, Natalie Portman, Rachel Weisz and Norah Jones.
