Download Youtube Videos

Looking for a quick and easy way to download and save YouTube videos to your PC? We found this website called Save YouTube that works with any Internet browser and doesn’t require any software installation (those using the Firefox plugin know what we’re talking about).

All you have to do is go to the page with the video you want to download on YouTube.com and copy the URL in your browser’s address bar. Then head over to SaveYoutube.com, paste the URL into the form provided and hit the “Download” button. The video should start downloading. Finally, rename the downloaded YouTube video with a “.FLV” extension, e.g. parishiltonhomevideo.flv

You will need an FLV player to watch the video because the format was created for streaming over the Internet and so regular players like Windows Media Player doesn’t support it. The good thing is there are FLV converters available to convert it to a common format like MPEG, WMV or AVI - useful if you wanna watch the video on your PSP for example.
